Art Starts with a Spark
Every drawing begins with something simple—a shape, a feeling, an idea waiting to come alive. In this course, students will explore how character art is more than lines on a page—it’s a playful way to express who they are and how they see the world.
From Shape to Story
Using basic shapes, proportions, and color, students will learn how to design original characters that are full of personality and movement. They'll explore how posture, expression, and detail bring emotion and story into their art.
Imagination with Structure
This class blends skill-building with creative freedom. Students will practice new techniques each week while developing their own visual style—learning that every character they create is an invitation to connect, reflect, and imagine more deeply.

Will the course be recorded?
Yes! All sessions are recorded with captions and will be available within 48 hours after the live class.
Can other family members join?
Absolutely. The course fee includes your whole household—siblings, parents, and curious grandparents too. One price covers everyone under your roof.
What age is this course best for?
This course is designed for ages 10 and up, but the ideas we explore are meaningful at any age. Younger children may enjoy joining with a parent, and teens and adults often find the content just as fascinating.
What’s the time commitment?
Plan for 1 hour of live class each week, plus 10–30 minutes a day for light reflection, journaling, or hands-on exploration.
What materials will we need?
You’ll just need access to Zoom, a printer (for optional journal pages), and a notebook or binder to collect reflections and drawings. We’ll send everything else digitally.
